(We'll be super busy in class, and it won't all be taking notes and listening to lecture. Make sure your brain is engaged and ready to go when you come to class.)
Take ALL MEASURES NECESSARY to avoid missing any class periods!!! Do NOT, if at all possible, schedule appointments for during this class time.
CALENDAR:
Flashcards: 5 or 10 per chapter (listen in class to know which one). Choose events, people, vocab, concepts that you are struggling the most with and make a flashcard on it. (Name/Word + Time Period on one side, definition/explanation on the other.) Do NOT neglect this, and bring them in on quiz day. You will want to hold on to these all year long, as they will be handy for studying for THE test (and the semester final). Plus, you can exchange cards with one another.
